Lam Gods spel
Designed by Belgian artist Herman Verbaere in 1949, this iconic poster is a wonderful example of his graphic expertise.
Verbaere was famous for his clean lines, strong contrasts and minimalist style, which perfectly matched the spirit of the late 1940s. As one of the artists commissioned by the Belgian Railways, he created visual masterpieces that promoted train travel as a luxurious, modern experience.
This poster contains a unique reference to Jan and Hubert van Eyck’s famous Lamb of God painting, a Flemish Renaissance masterpiece that reflects Belgium’s rich cultural history.
When purchasing posters, you can always opt to have them lined. You can find more information about this on this page.
