Linen backed poster “Zwitserland Postautodiensten”, 62x100cm, ca. 1935 by Libis (ps. H.B. Libiszewski, °1897-†1985), Condition A-.

The Postbus quickly replaced stagecoaches in the 20th century and took on an important tourist function on the Alpine routes. The yellow route painted on the poster represents the importance of the Postbus at that time. Herbert Libiszewski shows the Maloja Pass, the Bergell with the charming village of Soglio with 300 souls and the Badile in the background. A uniquely beautiful way to present the Engadine valley.
